Dark-medium roast (216℃) | Espresso Massimo is my roasty-toasty tribute to the great old-fashioned brands that put espresso on the map: Segafredo, Lavazza, and many others like them. Full-bodied, rich, down-to-earth, pungent, nutty, syrupy, no pretension, robusta-forward espresso. This is not a charry, unctuous, bitter-caramel roast. It is chocolaty at heart, with a broad Italian accent, meaning — peanut brittle, caramel popcorn, chocolate malt. Origins: Brazil and Uganda.
