Peru Santa Ana is a washed arabica sourced from several coffee towns in Peru’s northern Cajamarca region. This lot is made up of many small-holder coffee farmers who manage around a few hectares of land each. The coffee is collected at local processing mills where it is pulped, fermented, washed and dried. Peruvian coffees tend to be crowd-pleasers, having good body, mild lemony acidity, and lots of chocolate character. This coffee is no exception, with great Dutch cocoa flavours and lovely nuances of almond milk, caramel and vanilla nougat.
